After our PRU study week and 2 whole weeks of exams, it is finally time to let our hair down and chill for a whole night. With the conclusion of the first semester, we all deserve a night of relaxation from our work and studies and hence, PRU is here to organise a much anticipated outing!

4 December 2010 - Post-Exams Outing to Timbre!

PRU organised an outing to Timbre @ Arts House. We ordered pizza for our fellow PRU members to savour and spend time together. It was a light-hearted event and we were all relieved to be able to chill without the burden of studies or work. There was a great turn-out as people were eager to relax after their exams and besides, who can resist free pizza from Timbre??

Immersed in the comfortable and relaxed setting, and accompanied by the soothing live music of our local band, we chatted non-stop and ate and drank for the whole night. After we finished our food, we played various games which resulted in embarrassing forfeits. The first forfeit had 3 of our members going up to dance to the live music and the next one had another 3 people dancing around Timbre. Finally, the last and the best forfeit was a live singing performance by our spontaneous chairman and vice-chairman! They took over the lead singer of the band and sang a whole song together. This was greeted by catcalls and cheering from our members and the various other patrons of Timbre.

As it grew darker and as we finished our drinks, we finally left Timbre and ended our chilling session there. Some of us went off while others left to have supper. It was truly a fun and memorable night and if you missed this session, be sure to join us at our next event! 6 & 7 December 2010 - Annual PRU Camp!

After a whole semester of PRU events and happenings, it is finally time for our members to gather and attend a camp altogether. At the end of every year, PRU organises a camp for everyone to spend time with each other and make new friends. It is also a good chance to have much fun and interact with your PRU mates!

On 6^th to 7^th Dec 2010, PRU conducted our annual camp in school. Initially on the first day, there were new people who attended our camp as their first PRU event. To integrate the new faces into our family, we played ice-breakers which really helped us to know each other better. After lunch, we headed to Kent Ridge Park and had much fun playing various orientation games and taking photos together. Due to the drizzle, we had to shorten our stay there and head back to school. After a whole afternoon of activities, we freshened up and tucked into a delicious buffet catered by our committee. We changed into our posh and fancy attire and finally, it is our highlight of the camp – Casino Night!

As promised, various game stations were set up throughout the student lounge, such as mah-jong, blackjack, roulette etc. Exciting and thrilling games were played which caused laughter and squeals to erupt from various groups of people. We played and made noise till late at night. Finally, we got tired and decided to settle down for our overnight movie marathon. We lay down in our sleeping bags and watched the movies which were screened continuously. Eventually, exhaustion took over and we fell asleep one by one.

The next morning, we woke up late and hence skipped breakfast. Then, we packed up and headed off to Harbourfront interchange for lunch. After lunch, we went to Sentosa and spent the whole afternoon on the beach playing beach games and interacting with one another. It was a fun and relaxing afternoon and we got to get a good tan! As the night fell, we left the island and went to Vivo City for our dinner at the rooftop. We stayed till late and continued our chatting and sharing session. Finally, we broke camp and left one another. Although it was only a 2-day 1-night camp, we managed to interact greatly with each other and had so much fun together!
