Positions Available:

  • IT Resource Executives
    In-charge as webmasters of NUSSU PRU’s website, domain, NUSSU PRU email service as well as the various social media avenues (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) in engaging and maintaining friendly relations with PRU members as well as NUS students. To work closely with the media designers and Public Liason officers regularly to update these avenues. 

  • Operations Executives
    In-charge of logistical and operations matters within the committee – duties include ensuring supply of logistics for NUSSU PRU internal events and working along with flagship event ad-hoc committees to update the logistics movement chart. Will work along with the general secretary to archive important documentations. 

  • Media Designers
    In-charge as media designers for the various social media avenues such as NUSSU PRU’s website and Facebook pages, as well as print forms of media such as publicity posters for events, MC namecards, T-shirts, EDMs (Electronic Direct Mailer) Media designers will be highly valued in the area of corporate branding under our new PR initiative! You will also double up as photographers to cover PRU outings and events, and post them up at the relevant pages for publicity. Do bring down your portfolio (if available) for those who are interested in this position. 

  • Public Liaison Officers
    Public relations is about managing reputation. In this office term, public relations would be geared towards corporate branding of NUSSU through the various flagship events. You will also be strategizing the content and information on the various social media avenues, crafting articles and write-ups for event publicity or post-event coverage, working along with the creative and IT cell. You will also get to liaise with external visiting bodies or overseas universities during hosting events. Evaluation of PR strategies during the course of the term will also be headed by the PL officers (e.g. feedback loop mechanisms), as well as the pushing forward of new PR strategies. Specific projects include coordinating a PR workshop in semester 1, as well as source for and coordinate campus concerts. 

  • Human Resource Officers
    In-charge of MC members as well as PRU members’ welfare and bonding activities, Human resource managers serve as the bridge between the NUSSU PRU MC and the PRU members. In effectively bringing across the new PR initiatives and implementations, HR officers are the ones to engage members in jumping on board as NUSSU ambassadors and roping them in as volunteers and support for the various events. Also in tandem with our new PR vision, HR officers serve as feedback avenues for PRU members to feedback to; which can be taken into consideration to improve both internal and campus-wide events. Looking for fun, vibrant personalities with good people skills for these positions as you are our committee’s liaison with our large PRU member base! Specific projects include coordinating and organizing PRU Camp, PRU retreat, Halloween @ Night Safari, internal events for members as well as for MC members.
